Driver Medicals

Many of the companies and individuals that use MKOH both on site and in our clinics are from the logistics, distribution, transport and taxi industries.

We therefore have vast experience in delivering FLT, Taxi Licensing, HGV, LGV, PSV and Coach medicals.

Driver medicals are based on the latest DVLA Medical Standards of Fitness to Drive guidelines.

FLT medicals are carried out based on the medical standards set out in Safety in working with Lift Trucks, HSE HS (G) 6.

Statutory & Specialists

Statutory medical examinations help ensure that the work undertaken by employees in relation to regulations, does not have an adverse effect on their health.

The employing company is responsible for ensuring their employees have the relevant medicals at the required intervals using the services of a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Appointed Doctor (AD) or Approved Medical Examiner of Divers (AMED).

The onus is on employers and the self-employed to find a suitably qualified person.  MKOH has the appropriately qualified and approved professionals and can provide a range of statutory and specialist medicals including:

MKOH offers a variety of lifestyle medicals from OH Nurse based medicals complimenting Health & Wellbeing activities to full OH Physician Executive or Senior Manager Medicals

Executive medicals can perform a key role in keeping your workforce happy, healthy and working to its full potential. Detecting an illness in its early stages can greatly improve the chances of effective and successful treatment, and also help avoid the need to take a significant length of time off work.

On the completion of each medical, our OH Physician/Nurse will explain the results to the employee and give advice to the employee and employer as appropriate.
