Lifestyle Medicals
MKOH can offer a variety of lifestyle medicals from OH Nurse based medicals to full OH Physician Executive or Senior Manager Medicals.
Lifestyle medicals can be constructed to a budgetary cost.
From a basic OH Nurse Medical comprising:
- Height; Weight; Urine analysis (stix); Blood pressure;
- Dietary advice and a brief discussion with the OH Nurse.
Further options might include:
- Medical history questionnaire
- Vision
- Lung Function (Spirometry)
- Hearing (Audiometry)
- Cholesterol
Through to:
- Executive Medical
- Senior Manager Healthcheck
- Overseas Medical
These medicals will be at the MKOH clinic in Milton Keynes and are conducted initially by the Occupational Health Nurse, who carries out a range of tests, as above.
There is an in depth consultation with the Physician who will:
- Review the questionnaire:
- past history and family history
- specific problem areas and areas of concern
- lifestyle issues
- Conduct a resting ECG
- Carry out a full clinical examination:
- skin, ears, eyes, throat, central nervous system, abdominal system, muscles, joints, spine and gait.
- Conduct a standard biochemistry and haematology screen, and additional screening for certain overseas medicals.
- Discuss the test results and examination with the individual
- A full written report is available on request to the employee
