Vaccinating

occupational vaccines

Ensuring your employees who may be at risk whilst discharging their duties are vaccinated against potential diseases and consequences of incidents in the work place.

A full occupational health vaccine programme will protect them!

Individuals who work in certain jobs should be vaccinated against high-risk diseases they may be exposed to at work - or if they are already on a programme need Blood Tests to check their immunity.  These occupational health vaccinations and blood tests can be delivered with the support of the MKOH - as long as they can be shown to be for work purposes.  MKOH cannot provide vaccinations for non work purposes.

Our fully training Occupational Health Nurses can develop a programme of support for your employees who may be at risk within the workplace or require protection due to regular travel throughout the world.  Occupations that can be at higher risk include Healthcare: nurses, physicians, hospital workers, care homes, nurseries, dentistry, pathology workers, chiropody; Emergency services; Council workers: park workers, street cleaners, refuse disposal; Prison and detention services; Tattooing and body piercing; Social services; Plumbing and sewage process workers; Special Educational Needs Schools.

With ever changing advice and risk assessments, the team take advice from NathNac and the ‘Immunisation against Infectious Disease’ (‘The Green Book’) from the Department of Health.  MKOH are a fully accredited Yellow Fever Clinic.

MKOH Can provide a full end to end service, confirming the requirements for each job role (risk or regulatory based) and managing a programme to suit each individual or business.  If required this can be supported through medical screening.
